he voting for the Summerside Festival Band Contest will be held over a defined period, as announced. Winners will be informed on the final day of voting, and shortly after, the results will be published alongside the winning bands. Voting will take place on the Summerside Festival homepage, where participants can vote by submitting their name and email address. Each voter can only vote once for the same band but may vote for several different bands. Any duplicate votes will be filtered and excluded from the contest. In the event of a tie between two or more bands at the end of the voting, the organizers reserve the right to determine the winning band(s). The performance slots will be announced in due course, and their allocation is at the sole discretion of the organizers. Winning bands should keep both performance days available. Each winning band will have the option to place 10 people on the guest list for the day of their performance. All band members and their staff will receive a day pass with a backstage pass for the necessary areas. Additionally, each band member will receive two regular day tickets of their choice. Legal recourse is excluded for the entire voting process. All contest-related documents must be treated as confidential and cannot be shared with third parties or made public without the organizer's consent. Any band exhibiting misconduct of any kind, including but not limited to racist, sexist, discriminatory, or inhumane statements, posts, or actions, will be immediately removed from the contest. Manipulation of the voting process will also lead to disqualification. There is no exhaustive list of misconduct that could result in exclusion; the organizers reserve the right to make disciplinary decisions on a case-by-case basis. Data submitted during the voting process may be used for promotional purposes.
